GazaTweetup, the first meeting that included an active group of tweeps based in Gaza, was held under the auspices of Al-Mathaf Hotel which is the fountain of Diwan Ghazza intellectual activities. It was established by several activists and bloggers after they met over a year ago and together organized several activities, the most significant of which being livestreaming of TEDX Ramallah and TEDX Cairo around a month ago.
GazaTweetup is an elementary step to achieve one of the most important goals that Diwan Ghazza aspires to; that is, to foster familiarity and better relationships to embark on dealing with the variety of the social causes of our time and activating the role of bloggers within the Palestinian community.
غزة تويت أب، اللقاء الأول الذي يضم مجموعة فعالة من مستخدمين التويتر في غزة. عقد اللقاء برعاية من فندق المتحف وهو باكورة نشاطات ديوان غزة الذي أسسه مجموعة من الناشطين والمُدونين بعد إلتقائهم قبل أكثر من سنة وعقدهم لمجموعة من النشاطات كان أبرزها البث المباشر لتيدكس رام الله وتيدكس القاهرة قبل أشهر.
يأتي هذا النشاط كخطوة أولى لتحقيق واحد من أهم الأهداف التي يسعى إليها ديوان غزة وهو تنمية التعارف الفلسطيني لخلق أجواء التضامن لتبني القضايا الإجتماعية وتفعيل دور المُدونين في المجتمع.
